You are invited to join our team as a Senior Designer-BIM in Ground Engineering at Ramboll, located in Gurgaon, India. As part of our engineering design center, you will utilize your expertise in Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads/OpenTunnels, and Geo-Structural drawing with Geotech knowledge. In this role, you will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to deliver a wide range of engineering drawings for projects of varying complexity. To excel in this position, you should possess a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience from ITI. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance to junior team members, assisting in developing draughting standards, drawing 3D ground models, preparing plan and elevation drawings, and ensuring technical correctness and timely delivery of drawings and documents. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley software is essential, with knowledge of MicroStation, OpenTunnels/OpenRoads, Novapoint Geosuite, and Navisworks being desirable. Your qualifications should include a Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI training with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Highway Engineer to contribute to the planning, alignment, and integration of road infrastructure within a large-scale multimodal transport hub. The ideal candidate will work closely with transport planners, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure efficient and sustainable highway design and scheduling. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. Develop cost estimates and budgets for all civil and structural components. Assist in preparing tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and procurement schedules. Evaluate contractor bids and support in contract negotiations. Monitor project costs and flag budget deviations during the planning and execution phases. Work closely with planners, engineers, and procurement teams to align financials with the construction schedule. Support value engineering and cost-saving strategies. Prepare financial progress reports, cash flow projections, and cost control documentation. Solid understanding of IRC guidelines, MoRTH Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MX Road, OpenRoads, or similar highway design software.

Duties and Responsibilities Works under limited supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Qualifications Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. 3+ Years Experience in the similar field.
