Job Description

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into high-quality final cuts, using storytelling techniques to enhance viewer engagement.
Add music, dialogue, graphics, sound effects, and color grading as needed to elevate production quality.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and content teams to understand project goals and creative direction.
Review and organize footage, ensuring proper file management and workflow efficiency.
Apply brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all videos.
Incorporate feedback and make revisions in a timely manner.
Stay updated with industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging technologies.
Export videos in required formats and deliver optimized files for various platforms (social media, web, broadcast, etc.).

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency in editing software such as
Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve
, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of timing, pacing, narrative structure, and visual storytelling.
Knowledge of color correction, color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
A creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video work.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

Motion graphics experience (e.g., After Effects).
Basic knowledge of sound design.
Experience with cinematography or camera operation.
Familiarity with social media content formats and trends.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
