Applications are invited for the following position under the ICMR-funded research project titled: "Seizure-Sentry: Wearable Epilepsy Prediction Device for Enhanced Patient Safety through Timely Alerts and Personalized Seizure Management" · Number of Posts: 01 · Fellowship: ₹67,200/- per month (including HRA) · Appointment Duration: 1 year (extendable up to 3 years based on satisfactory performance) Project Objective: This project aims to develop a wearable epilepsy prediction device integrated with biosensors, AI/ML models, and real-time data processing to provide early seizure alerts and improve patient safety. Job Role & Responsibilities: · Design and develop biosensor integration frameworks for EEG and physiological signal acquisition. · Implement AI/ML algorithms for seizure prediction and real-time data analysis. · Optimize hardware-software integration for efficient signal processing. · Conduct data collection, analysis, and validation using clinical and simulated datasets. · Prior experience in EEG analysis is highly desirable. · Candidates available to join at the earliest will be given preference. Eligibility Criteria: Essential Qualification: First Class Post Graduate degree including the integrated post-graduate degrees with three years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields Aforementioned qualification(s) must be from a recognized Board/ University/ Institute. Desirable Skills: Strong experience in Circuit simulation in EDA tools , EEG signal processing, biosensor integration, AI/ML, and wearable healthcare devices . Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, OpenBCI, and embedded system programming . Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and real-time signal analytics . About the Role Brainwave Science is seeking an EEG Hardware Specialists to support and optimize the hardware side of our iCognative™ system — a patented P300-based cognitive detection technology. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in EEG acquisition systems, amplifier components, and electrode technologies , with hands-on experience working with commercial EEG headsets.This role is focused on EEG hardware configuration, maintenance, and optimization — not headset design. You will be responsible for ensuring signal quality and troubleshooting hardware-related issues across varied testing environments. ✅ Required Skills & Expertise Strong understanding of EEG signal acquisition , especially P300 ERP detection Hands-on experience with EEG headsets such as OpenBCI, g.tec, BioSemi, NeuroScan, or similar Familiarity with: EEG signal flow: electrode → amplifier → ADC → output Dry and wet electrodes , and 10-20 electrode placement system Analog front-end design principles : high impedance, high CMRR Filtering techniques: notch filters, bandpass filters , and noise artifact removal Ability to work with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscope, signal viewer, etc.) Comfortable with basic circuit-level understanding of EEG amplifier chains and headsets Experience working with signal visualization or acquisition software (OpenBCI GUI, MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, etc.) Understanding of how EEG hardware interfaces with software platforms and real-time data systems 🌟 Nice to Have Exposure to iCognative™ , lie detection systems, or other ERP-based technologies Experience supporting EEG tests in applied neuroscience, neurofeedback, or BCI environments Knowledge of compliance and safety practices for biosignal equipment (e.g., CE/FCC/IEC standards) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in cross-functional environments 🌍 Why Join Us?
