As a frontend engineer at Palindrome, you will play a crucial role in connecting real users to AI-driven wealth strategies through interfaces that are not only secure and performant but also visually appealing across various devices. Working closely with our backend, product, and design teams, you will be instrumental in developing intuitive tools that our customers rely on daily. Your responsibilities will include: - Taking ownership of, building, and maintaining mobile and web applications using React, React Native, NodeJS, and other relevant technologies - Designing scalable interfaces utilizing micro frontend and BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns - Implementing seamless type-aware API integrations using tools such as openapi-typescript, openapi-fetch, and tRPC - Optimizing performance, caching, and intelligent build-time operations to enhance dynamic asset delivery for our customers - Creating scalable data layers to manage complex client state and data fetching on both web browsers and native devices - Developing rich UI components using technologies like Tailwind CSS, NativeWind, Gluestack UI, and Shadcn to bring pixel-perfect screens from design tools like Figma to life - Collaborating within a product-oriented, user-centric environment with a focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and building trust with our users To excel in this role, we expect you to have: - 6+ years of experience in React, React Native, and mobile development for both Android and iOS platforms - Proficiency in addressing complex challenges related to device-native modules - A deep understanding of MVC frontend architecture, modularization, content delivery, and state management - Familiarity with OpenAPI-driven development, writing type-safe code, and adhering to API-first principles while maintaining high-quality code standards aligned with the twelve-factor app methodology - Knowledge of modern UI systems and design standards with a keen eye for detail - Comfort working in a dynamic, cross-functional, and distributed team environment, effectively communicating complex ideas and approaches in a respectful manner - Demonstrated high agency, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to deliver business value rapidly - Bonus points for familiarity with HTTP streaming, RTC, WebSockets, AI systems, and MCP If you are a frontend engineer with a passion for creating innovative solutions in the wealth management industry and possess the necessary skills and experience outlined above, we would love to hear from you.
