About the Team The Applied AI Engineering team is the bridge between DevRev’s core product and our customers’ unique needs. We work closely with clients to design, develop, and implement integrations, automations, and AI-powered enhancements that unlock real value from the DevRev platform. Role Overview As an Applied AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering custom solutions for our customers. You’ll leverage your expertise in integrations, cloud/serverless technologies, and AI/ML to connect DevRev with diverse SaaS and enterprise systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and directly with customers, ensuring successful adoption and maximum impact. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain integrations and automations between DevRev and third-party SaaS/non-SaaS systems using APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures. Leverage AI/ML, including Generative AI and large language models (LLMs), to solve customer challenges and enhance workflows. Build and fine-tune knowledge graphs and semantic search engines for improved data discovery. Analyze data, write SQL queries, and build dashboards to provide actionable insights to customers and internal teams. Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Document solutions and ensure maintainability, scalability, and resilience in all integrations. Deploy and manage solutions on serverless/cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, etc.). Ensure security in API integrations, including OAuth, API key/token management, and secrets handling. Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years’ experience in integration software development, including APIs, webhooks, and automation for customer-facing solutions. Strong hands-on coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Go. Experience with serverless/cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions, etc.). Proficient in OpenAPI specifications, SDK integrations, and secure API practices (OAuth, API keys, secrets management). Solid understanding of event-driven and pub/sub architectures. Experience in data mapping, transformation, and working with graph data structures. Background in AI/ML, especially LLMs, prompt engineering, or semantic search is a strong plus. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced certifications in AI/architecture are a plus). Show more Show less
