Job description- We are seeking a highly experienced Infrastructure Architect with proven expertise in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, infrastructure & network automation, and banking domain operations. The architect will design, plan, and guide the automation of DR workflows, integrating applications, infrastructure, and networks into a single-trigger failover solution orchestrated via Workload Automation Tools (Autosys/Tivoli/Control-m). Hands-on implementation capability for DR automation will be considered a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities Architect the end-to-end DR automation framework for multiple banking applications (Mainframe & Open Systems). Plan and design infrastructure & network automation for DR scenarios, including: VMware SRM / Nutanix-based failover. Storage replication & recovery. Network failover (firewall, NLB, DNS, routing automation). MQ and middleware recovery automation. Work closely with Workload Automation administrators (AutoSys/Control-M/Tivoli) to ensure all infra & network automation steps are integrated into the orchestration workflows. Conduct DR readiness assessments and identify automation opportunities. Collaborate with application owners and infra SMEs to document dependencies and validate failover processes. Define security and compliance requirements in banking DR standards. Guide and mentor Infra Automation Engineers and Network/Security Engineers during implementation. Participate in DR drills and act as technical lead during actual DR events. Prepare detailed infrastructure & network runbooks for DR operations. Ensure all designs and implementations are audit-ready for banking compliance. Mandatory Skills & Experience 10+ years in Infrastructure Architecture, with at least 5 years in Disaster Recovery planning and execution. Proven experience in banking and financial services domain . Strong knowledge of: DR orchestration tools (Control-M experience preferred). VMware SRM, Nutanix, storage replication technologies. Network automation (firewall, NLB, DNS failover scripting). REST API integrations for infra and network tools. Familiarity with Mainframe & Open Systems DR considerations. Experience with SAMA, ISO 22301 , or other banking DR compliance frameworks. Ability to create high-level architecture diagrams and low-level implementation plans. Strong stakeholder communication skills, especially in high-pressure DR events. Certifications Any of these certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Nutanix Certified Professional ITIL v4 DR/BCP certifications (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer) Travel Requirement: Should hold a valid passport. Need to travel to client location in Dubai/Riyadh as per the need of the project.
