As a Layout Integration Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in the Customer Order Projects, focusing on Layout Integration Engineering for LGT auxiliary packages. Your responsibilities will involve detail design tasks utilizing tools like Open Plant to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Working as a part of the COE team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Plant Layout for multiple Gas turbine frames. Based in Gurgaon (IND), your primary tasks will revolve around Customer Order Engineering while also extending support to R&D and site operations. Your new role will be both challenging and future-oriented. You will be tasked with representing layout concepts for GT packages, coordinating with various disciplines within Siemens Energy, and reviewing detailed designs of equipments and skids. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing basic designs, procurement drawings, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 7 to 12 years of engineering experience and at least 3 years in a similar role. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a dedication to product excellence are key qualities we are looking for. Your ability to work in global project teams and travel internationally will be essential for success. Preferred qualifications include expertise in modeling tools like Open Plant, knowledge of safety regulations such as escape routes and fire protection, and experience in project engineering management. Your solid understanding of technical relationships and the power generation business will be highly valued.
