We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OPD Nursing Assistant to join our hospital team at Mundakkayam, Kottayam. The ideal candidate will provide professional nursing support to doctors and ensure smooth functioning of the outpatient department (OPD). As an OPD Nursing Assistant, your responsibilities will include assisting doctors during patient consultations and minor procedures in OPD, recording patient history, vital signs, and maintaining OPD registers/reports. You will prepare patients for examination, administer medications/injections as prescribed, provide health education and basic nursing care to patients, and ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and safe handling of instruments in OPD. Additionally, you will support doctors in coordinating diagnostic tests and follow-ups, ensure patient comfort, address their queries politely, and adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards. The ideal candidate for this role should have education in GNM / ANM Nursing from a recognized institution. Both freshers and experienced candidates may apply. Good communication skills in Malayalam and basic English are required. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, patient-friendly, able to work in a team, and have a basic knowledge of OPD procedures, patient care, and documentation.
