We are seeking a SCADA Engineer with expertise in the Ignition Platform and Codesys troubleshooting. The candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining SCADA/ HMI user interfaces, integrating databases, managing alarms, and ensuring seamless communication with industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and DNP3. Experience in Energy Management is an added advantage. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python scripting, OPC Server/Client interfacing, and implementing SQL Bridge.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: OVERALL: The APRISO delviery specialist is part of the Manufacturing delivery team . He is very closely working in connection with the MES-Apriso community to delivery the Manufacturing execution solution across different sites (globally). He will be overlooking three main types of activities: Delivery of APRISO solution as part ofproject, Project change request, support for the solution delivery . We are looking for a candidate with a significant developer background on Delmia-Apriso platform with proven track records on: IOT integration to MES backbone, OPC servers; Understanding and practice of offline / online modes.This position also requires the capability to understand network and security constraints, both on the office as well as on the shopfloor networks. In addition to Apriso knowledge, it will be a plus for thecandidate todemonstrate development skills on multiple types of modern platforms like (examples): C#, Javascript Knowledge of Discrete Manufacturing is a plus. Role & responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications for industrial use. Write software modules using Python language to satisfy project requirement. Create a database schema based on the data structures and reporting requirements. Use tools like Git to develop and manage software versions. Write unit test modules to test all software with unit testing libraries. Integrate software with hardware controllers (e.g., PLCs, sensors, HMIs, OPC servers). Support site commissioning and deployment activities. Generate supporting documentation as per team and customer requirements. This job may require that you are available to travel to customer site.
