As the Commissioning and Startup Engineer, your role will involve supporting the projects Lead Commissioning Engineer (LCE) in managing the PACO discipline CSU team within the OGP project. You will be responsible for executing pre-commissioning, commissioning activities, and initial startup/performance testing of newly constructed facilities for the Onshore Gas Plant (OGP). This includes providing HSSE leadership, managing interfaces, and coordinating all handovers of commissioned systems to the Completion team. Your leadership and guidance will ensure the safety standards are implemented and maintained throughout the commissioning process. Job Title : Production Engineer Qualification : Degree with 10 yrs or Diploma with 12 yrs in Chemical/ Petroleum experience within the Offshore/Onshore Production field Job Responsibilities as mentioned below : Ensuring that all records/logs/certificates are maintained and updated to provide evidence of conformance to Vedanta Ltd, Cairn oil and gas HSE standards. Supervise commissioning and optimization of new and modified plant. Monitor, record and control of discharges and flaring. Ensure where performance standards have not been met that the correct plans are in place to resolve. Track progress of MoCs raised by team Performance Measurement and Review: Encourages and support Continuous Improvement initiatives. Ensure induction of new personnel is completed and recorded. Reward staff for outstanding performance, champion individuals during performance review process. Carry out individual and team performance appraisals. Identify training requirements based on competency, skills needs, industry and Vedanta Ltd, Cairn oil and gas guidelines. Provide feedback to individuals regarding HSE performance. Maintain competency of Production Teams by identifying training requirements for individuals and ensuring they are met. Audit Permit and isolation systems, control and monitor total number of live permits and long term Isolations. Conduct COP/E-COP training for Production team members. Follow up / Close Out of safety actions - review and implement HSE actions. Conduct Area inspections and Safety Audit tours. Responsible to Budget Responsible Officer (BRO) for operations budget Communication and Information: Carry out general team briefs when necessary. Keep in contact with other sites and production groups. Liaise closely with Maintenance Superintendent and night shift Production Superintendent. Carry out presentations e.g. at Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPRs), to senior manager when requested. Communicate performance targets to Installation Manager and senior Management Team. Interface with contractors and third parties. Advice to Installation Manager on all aspects of Plant Operations. Safety Critical Tasks: Fulfil designated role in emergency team as required. Deputy Incident Controller Environment: Run production operations to ensure that site runs within flare consent and to achieve flare and combustion / un-burnt hydrocarbons targets. Run oil, gas plant and utilities facilities to minimise spurious trips and shutdowns and therefore unplanned losses to flare. Ensure equipment operated in manner that minimises potential for fugitive losses and accidental oil, gas and chemical spills from plant. Ensure waste disposed as per Rajasthan Waste Management Plan. Monitoring / measuring production performance to meet Vedanta Ltd, Cairn oil and gas environmental monitoring requirements, recording of this performance monitoring; review of performance figures against regulatory and Vedanta Ltd, Cairn oil and gas objectives and targets. Understanding the environmental emissions and resource use and effects from each of the above. Coaching and Developing: Ability to interact with all staff. Provide proactive input to training programme to ensure all aspects of team development are met. Actively encourage development over and above core skills. Provide regular feedback to line management regarding trainee progress and requirements.

Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to oversee and enforce safety protocols across our oil & gas projects, both onshore and offshore . The role involves ensuring compliance with national and international safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and reducing risk through proactive measures and continuous monitoring. Key Responsibilities: General (Onshore & Offshore): Implement and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and legal compliance. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments (HIRA, JSA). Ensure adherence to Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities. Conduct incident/accident investigations and root cause analyses. Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. Monitor use of PPE and ensure compliance among all personnel. Maintain safety logs, reports, training records, and documentation. Support emergency response planning and execution. Onshore Operations: Supervise construction, maintenance, and shutdown activities. Monitor excavation, scaffolding, heavy lifting, and confined space work. Ensure hazardous materials (HAZMAT) are handled per MSDS guidelines. Coordinate with contractors and ensure safety compliance across teams. Offshore Operations: Oversee helicopter landing zone safety and offshore personnel transfer. Conduct platform and vessel safety drills (fire, abandon ship, man overboard). Inspect lifesaving equipment, SCBAs, lifeboats, and fire systems. Monitor marine safety practices and oil spill response protocols. Liaise with offshore emergency response teams and marine safety authorities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech) Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification. Minimum 35 years of experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas sector. Experience in both onshore and offshore operations is preferred. Valid Offshore Survival (BOSIET) and Medical Certification (as applicable). Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of OSHA, ISO 45001, API, OISD, and other HSE standards . Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in remote and challenging environments. Proficient in incident investigation tools and HSE reporting software.
