You should have 15+ years of experience in application development, along with 7+ years of experience in solutioning & architecture. Specifically, you should possess strong knowledge in the banking technology domain, with at least 5+ years of experience in solutioning banking applications. Expertise in multi-cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google is essential, as well as experience in migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions. It would be beneficial to have Enterprise Architecture certification such as TOGAF. Your skill set should include a deep understanding of Domain Driven Design, GraphQL, microservices, APIs, and front-end development tools like Java, node.js, Spring Boot, API gateway, service mesh, react, React Native, .net core, and big data technologies. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies including SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and CouchDB is required. You must have a profound understanding of both NoSQL and relational databases, encompassing data storage, data modeling, and data access patterns. The ability to review SQL and NoSQL issues, as well as performance bottlenecks, is crucial. Furthermore, you should be capable of challenging technology solutions proposed by vendors and in-house teams to suggest optimal solutions. Your responsibilities will include identifying weaknesses in the current application landscape and offering solutions for improvement. Providing guidance to technology teams on application and platform stability, including performance testing and tuning, is expected. Experience in defining functional and non-functional application requirements is necessary. Familiarity with architecting microservices applications and serverless architecture is preferred. Experience in developing applications using online commerce and omni-channel retail practices is advantageous. Proficiency in Agile DEVOPS development methodologies, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, is required. A strong understanding of major banking applications, both functionally and technologically, is also important for this role.,
