As a Messaging Services Advisor, you will be responsible for applying a wide range of theories, concepts, and principles to identify customer needs, manage and support systems, and provide steady state support to the messaging infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include handling on-call support, managing escalations, critical issues, server maintenance activities, and mentoring team members. You will be an expert in Messaging technologies such as SharePoint on-prem servers, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide deep subject matter expertise, advice, and program delivery. - Support 24x7 steady state operations, including flexible working shifts and weekends. - Contribute to the development of new techniques and plans within your area of expertise. - Understand and manage customer business needs and expectations effectively. - Manage day-to-day operations related to the Messaging infrastructure of the account(s). - Work on abstract and complex problems, integrating trends, data, and information into plans and recommendations. - Develop innovative solutions to improve business performance and contribute to corporate goals. - Anticipate operational issues, develop preventative measures, and apply advanced training and experience to resolve client problems. - Identify, structure, and deliver services that enable business processes. - Perform root cause analysis, design load testing, and disaster recovery scenarios. - Demonstrate exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with a global team of engineers. - Exhibit strong team player skills and the ability to work both in a team and as an individual contributor. - Maintain strong organizational and documentation skills. Technical Skillset: - Conduct health checks, server capacity management, and proactive configuration management support. - Implement security hardening and patch/update management support. - Provide support for high-availability components. - Manage Service Management and Service Level Management. - Configure collaboration components and search engines. - Support content management configuration.
