As an experienced Shift Operations Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, reliability, and smooth operation of process systems during shifts. You will collaborate with Panel Engineers, Field Engineers, and other departments to execute normal and critical operations, focusing on maintaining quality and quantity production while adhering to safety protocols. Your role will also involve monitoring chemical consumption, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with the Operations Management System (OMS). Managing shift operations will be a key aspect of your job, where you will issue plant-specific instructions, conduct field rounds and equipment checks, supervise plant operations, and coordinate with maintenance teams. Troubleshooting and maintaining plant performance according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), as well as ensuring safe handling of effluents and emissions within regulatory limits, will be crucial tasks. You will play a vital role in Production Revenue Accounting (PRA) by validating production data, running production allocation, and generating reports for review and approval. Additionally, your duties will include preparing, updating, and reviewing SOPs, ensuring compliance with checklists, and participating in audits. Your skill set should include proficiency in operating DCS, pumps, compressors, and other equipment, along with a solid understanding of chemical processes and safety protocols. Familiarity with OMS, Control of Work, PTW, HITRA, PRA, and OMPRO will be essential. Effective communication, leadership qualities, and teamwork skills are also necessary to lead the shift team successfully. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 3 to 4 years of specific experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, with an overall experience of 12 years. Operations Management Consultant | Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Refinery Operations Management Consultant to support clients in driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and performance improvement across refining operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, hands-on experience in refinery processes, and the ability to lead strategic initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, margin, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Assess current refinery operations, workflows, and KPIs to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities Lead initiatives focused on production optimization, energy efficiency, turnaround planning, margin improvement, and reliability. Propose innovative solutions for operations management leveraging the latest industry trends and technologies. Facilitate collaborative workshops with client teams to gather requirements, assess solution feasibility, and define implementation roadmaps aligned with enterprise digital strategies Design and implement operations management solution including Operations Logbook, Task Management, Digital Operating Procedures, Operating Instructions, Digital Troubleshooting. Lead /Support end-to-end implementation of digital tools such as Operations Management Suite, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Digital Operating Procedures (DOPs), and performance dashboards from requirements gatherings to deployment. Provide post implementation support, including troubleshooting and system optimization. Work closely with senior leadership, and functional teams to define performance objectives and accountability structures. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors or masters degree in chemical engineering, or equivalent 4+ years of experience in refinery operations or operations consulting Proven experience in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and managing stakeholder expectations. Strong understanding of operating procedures, task management, and logbook compliance in process industries. Working knowledge of Operations Management Suites such as: Honeywell Forge OM, AVEVA Production management, Yokogawa OMS. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
