Position: Deputy Manager / Manager IT (Hardware & Networking) Department: Information Technology Industry: Real Estate Company: Omaxe Ltd Location: New Chandigarh Experience : 5 - 10 years Qualification : B.Tech / B.E. / MCA or equivalent in IT/Computer Science Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT professional to manage the hardware and networking infrastructure across multiple project sites and corporate offices. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining seamless connectivity, troubleshooting hardware issues, managing system security, and ensuring uptime for all critical business operations in a fast-paced real estate environment. Key Responsibilities Network Management Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure across project locations Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs Monitor network performance and ensure network availability and reliability Hardware Management Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals Manage IT assets and ensure AMC and warranty coverage is up to date Evaluate hardware requirements and suggest procurement based on project scale Server & Data Management Manage file servers, backup systems, antivirus, and email configurations Ensure data integrity and implement regular backup protocols Coordinate with vendors for server upgrades and storage expansion IT Support & Troubleshooting Provide Level 1 and 2 support for IT-related issues across departments Maintain an incident ticketing system and ensure timely resolution Conduct root cause analysis for recurring hardware or connectivity issues Security & Compliance Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols, endpoint protection, and access controls Ensure compliance with IT policies, data security norms, and audit requirements Vendor & Team Management Liaise with hardware, ISP, and AMC vendors for timely service delivery Lead a team of IT support staff and coordinate daily operations Monitor SLAs and ensure quality service from outsourced IT service providers Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure in multi-location environments Hands-on experience with network security tools and practices Familiarity with cloud-based networking and backup solutions Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills Strong communication and leadership qualities Experience in real estate or construction industry is preferred Interested candidates can share their resume at jagdishkaur@omaxe.com
