Job Description

Role Overview: Siemens Energy is seeking an O&M Site Manager (GIS Substation) to join the team in Navi Mumbai. As part of the role, you will be responsible for empowering and providing technical training to site employees for Power Transmission products and ensuring environment, health, and safety compliance. Additionally, you will manage customer coordination, contracts, on-site vendors, and complete site management, including periodic preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of substations. A key aspect of the role is to lead a team of Engineers and Skilled Technical persons at the site with a customer-centric approach and good analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: - Empowerment and Technical Training to site employees for Power Transmission products (Extra High Voltage Power Trafo, Isolators, LA, and GIS). - Ensure environment, health, and safety awareness as per Siemens and customer's standards and protocols. - Manage customer coordination, contracts, on-site vendors, and complete site management. - Conduct periodic preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and testing of substations. - Lead a team of Engineers and Skilled Technical persons at the site with a customer-centric approach and good analytical skills. Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering with 6-8 years of experience OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience. - Proficiency in High Voltage Power Transmission Operation and Maintenance of High Voltage Gas insulated substations in 220kV and 400kV. - Expert knowledge of Offline and Online Conditioning Monitoring/Testing of Switchyard equipment and Relay Protection system/scheme understanding (Numerical with SCADA).
