Role Overview The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets Senior Associate is responsible for implementation, optimization and ongoing maintenance of our Digital Asset Management platform. This role will work closely with different teams like marketing and IT teams to manage large volume of digital assets across multiple channels. The role involves incident resolution, assets setup, asset ingestion, sync, API integration troubleshooting, security configuration, and compliance management to ensure seamless digital document experiences for business users. AEM Maintenance & Support Provide Level 2/3 support for AEM platform issues, including ingestion, workflow errors, access issues, and API-related incidents. Good understanding of AEM architecture , including OSGi , Sling , JCR , Apache Felix, HTL and Lucene indexing. Cache setup and content delivery optimization using dispatcher and Apache Httpd. Develop, enhance and maintain AEM components, templates and to build scalable AEM solutions. Experience in AEM core components, DAM asset management and content fragments . Integrate with third party services, APIs and front-end frameworks. Experience in creating cross browser cross device compatible components and templates. Customize and configure AEM workflows, automate content review, DAM processing, user management and security settings. AEM Asset API / Rendition experience with DAM heavy use cases optimizations. Good Java/ J2ee skills with experience in Sling Model and OSGi bundles. React, JSP, JSTL skills. Use CUGs, JWT/OAuth or Adobe IMS or Okta for authentication and external integrations . Familiarity with AEM SPA templating and front-end integrations with Slightly/HTL, JavaScript and CSS Experience with AEMAaaCS , CICD pipelines, Git, Jenkins and Maven . Exposure to have OpenText , Rest API integration or GraphQL, Splunk, Data Dog, SonarQube, Azure Experience in mentoring junior developers or leading small delivery or support team. Monitoring & Performance Optimization Use Splunk, ELK Stack, or Azure Monitor to track API performance and system health. Identify and resolve latency issues in document signing and retrieval processes . Optimize bulk signing and batch processing operations for enterprise-level usage. Collaboration & Documentation Work in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment with cross-functional teams. Document troubleshooting guides, SOPs, and best practices for AEM support. Conduct training sessions for business users and junior analysts . 🔹 Required Technical Skills 🔹 AEM 6.x+, OSGi, Sling, JCR, Apache Felix 🔹 REST API (OAuth, JWT authentication) 🔹 Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for document storage and processing 🔹 CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) 🔹 Scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell) for automation 🔹 Security & compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001) 🔹 Soft Skills Required ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting. ✔ Communication & collaboration with IT, business users, and vendors. ✔ Customer-focused mindset to ensure smooth document workflow experiences. ✔ Ability to work in a 24/7 production support environment (on-call rotations may be required). 🔹 Preferred Certifications 🎓 Adobe certified professional – AEM Sites Developer 🎓 Adobe certified expert – AEM Sites Business Practitioner
