Client & Internal Coordination: Coordinate with production, dispatch, and design departments for quality-related feedback and resolution. Assist in preparing COA (Certificate of Analysis) or quality reports for clients. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to ISO/GMP/FDA (if applicable) standards. Follow safety, hygiene, and housekeeping protocols in the QC lab and shop floor. Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Printing, Packaging, Chemistry, or related fields. 1–3 years of experience in QC, preferably in packaging, printing, or pharma-related industry. Knowledge of QC tools and techniques. Familiarity with measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, color densitometer, etc.). Good documentation and communication skills. Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, or other relevant quality systems is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Artwork Handling: Review and check incoming artwork files for accuracy and completeness. Make necessary corrections to files (text, image resolution, bleed, colors, font issues, etc.). Prepress Operations: Prepare files for printing: trapping, imposition, color separation, and proofing. Generate soft and digital proofs for client approval. Plate output handling (CTP operations if applicable). Software Expertise: Use Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) and other prepress software tools. Coordination: Communicate with design, marketing, and production teams to clarify job specifications. Coordinate with clients for proof approvals and artwork queries. Quality Control: Ensure all files meet printing press requirements and company standards. Maintain an organized archive of files and revisions.
