We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing on-premises infrastructure , networking , firewalls (Sophos) , Windows Server environments , and cloud platforms (Azure, Azure AD) . You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems, with a strong focus on endpoint security and file sharing services . Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure , ensuring optimal uptime and performance. Administer Windows Server environments , including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. Configure and maintain network infrastructure , including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls (Sophos) . Manage Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Active Directory , Virtual Machines, and security features. Oversee endpoint security solutions such as SentinelOne , Zscaler , and Microsoft Defender . Administer and maintain file share servers , ensuring appropriate access control and data integrity. Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance policies, and application deployments. Perform regular system monitoring , backups, patching, and updates for all infrastructure components. Troubleshoot complex system and network issues, providing timely resolution. Maintain security posture across all systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and IT initiatives. Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration. Experience managing Microsoft Azure , Azure Active Directory. Strong understanding of networking protocols , VLANs , VPNs , and firewall policies . Proficient with Sophos Firewall configuration and management. Hands-on experience with endpoint protection platforms : Sentinel One & Zscaler . Experience with file server management , SMB shares, and permissions. Familiarity with backup & disaster recovery planning and tools. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proactive attitude towards security, performance, and operational efficiency.
