A Video Editor cum Motion Graphics Artist should create visually engaging videos and animations for various platforms, integrating both video editing and motion graphics techniques. They are responsible for editing raw footage, adding visual effects, creating motion graphics, and ensuring a polished final product. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing: Select and combine footage to create a coherent narrative. Utilize video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effect, etc.) to assemble and refine videos. Add music, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance the storytelling. Motion Graphics: Design and animate graphics, titles, and visual elements. Create engaging motion graphics for intros, transitions, and visual effects. Ensure motion graphics are consistent with branding and visual style. Collaboration: Work closely with content teams and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. Provide input on creative direction and visual storytelling. Other: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in video editing and motion graphics. Manage and organize video assets efficiently. Skills and Qualifications: Software Proficiency: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other relevant software. Visual Design Skills: Understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory. Motion Graphics Skills: Proficiency in animation techniques and motion graphic design. Creative Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and execute creative video and motion graphic projects. Strong Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Ensuring high-quality and polished final products. Experience: Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics, typically supported by a portfolio.
