Job Requirements Provide foundation package input to front -end project development. Define and lead technical studies to inform key project decisions. Develop the technical portion of the package requisitions including technical specifications and information requirements and support supply chain engagement. Work closely with the Quality lead to define test and inspection requirements Lead the technical bid evaluation Performance manage contractor package engineering Technical verification of contractor engineering including design views Review and approve deviations Verify supplier documentation and manage the document review process, inform inspector visits and support client verification of construction work. Support technical queries from other project functions, particularly operations and commissioning Verify package technical close-out and recommend readiness to ship Capture lessons at key stages during the package management lifecycle to continuously improve portfolio technical knowledge. Deliver foundation innovation, technology and design that optimize the LCoE of the portfolio. Work Experience Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline Demonstrated technical competency in structural engineering discipline with broad understanding of the applicable codes and standards for the scope. Fluent written and spoken English language. Significant experience of project design stages (pre-FEED/FEED/detailed design) A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience of offshore structures. Understanding of the interfaces and interaction with supporting engineering disciplines for the scope of this package, particularly geotechnical Understand technical risk identification and management process to deliver safe and competitive projects. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across functions and within multi-disciplinary teams Desirable Criteria: Chartered Engineering Experience of technology development Understand quality Management process for engineering, manufacture and installation Understand technical aspects of competitive procurement process Ability in performance management of others (including 3rd party engineering service providers) to support timely decision making. Experience of construction, installation and operation support.

Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Civil/Ocean/Naval Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 4 years of experience or Masters degree in Mechanical/Ocean/Naval Architecture Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years of experience. Offshore Structural Experience (Software SACS). Expert level knowledge on use of FEA & calculation for SURF Local and Global analysis and relevant CAE softwares (e.g. OrcaFlex, UFlex, ANSYS, RISA, Sesam, SACS etc. Strong knowledge of more than one relevant Mechanical industry codes/standards (e.g.; ASME, DNV, API, AISC etc.) Basic knowledge of CAD software used. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Desired Qualifications Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g. Primavera) Purpose Lead assignments within design by analysis function. Supervise entry level Engineering analysts. Essential Functions Understand business needs and devise engineering solutions using analysis expertise to support bid, execution or failure and remediation studies Define scope of work, plan, allocate resources, ensure execution and timely completion of assignments. Supervise & mentor other Engineers on design by analysis. Execute complex analysis projects. Lead multiple projects at the same time, including small cross-functional projects. Review work carried out by other analysts, lead design reviews. Approve deliveries made by team. Ensure compliance to established Quality Management Processes. Define functional processes and work towards continuous improvement. Interact and Communicate with business units frequently to understand their requirements. Share regular progress updates with business. Strive to achieve targets on relevant key performance indicators. Validate timesheets of team members assigned. Prepare & conduct technical trainings. Should be open to travel as per business needs. Work towards individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives.
