Role & responsibilities Main responsibilities Focal point to Client and FPSO ops in terms of HSEQ matters. Manage internal and external HSEQ interfaces. Promote Operational / Asset Integrity understanding throughout organization through strong leadership. Manage the day-to-day HSEQ activities for the FPSO such that all HSEQ related issues are properly identified and driven to solutions which are cost effective and ALARP. Preparation of design drawings, Identification, selection and design of Instrument and Telecom system / equipment for projects , as required Preparation of detailed & production design and development of 3D model . Prepare cable block diagrams and termination drawings as per guidance and instructions given by Engineers. Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to oversee and enforce safety protocols across our oil & gas projects, both onshore and offshore . The role involves ensuring compliance with national and international safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and reducing risk through proactive measures and continuous monitoring. Key Responsibilities: General (Onshore & Offshore): Implement and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and legal compliance. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments (HIRA, JSA). Ensure adherence to Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities. Conduct incident/accident investigations and root cause analyses. Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. Monitor use of PPE and ensure compliance among all personnel. Maintain safety logs, reports, training records, and documentation. Support emergency response planning and execution. Onshore Operations: Supervise construction, maintenance, and shutdown activities. Monitor excavation, scaffolding, heavy lifting, and confined space work. Ensure hazardous materials (HAZMAT) are handled per MSDS guidelines. Coordinate with contractors and ensure safety compliance across teams. Offshore Operations: Oversee helicopter landing zone safety and offshore personnel transfer. Conduct platform and vessel safety drills (fire, abandon ship, man overboard). Inspect lifesaving equipment, SCBAs, lifeboats, and fire systems. Monitor marine safety practices and oil spill response protocols. Liaise with offshore emergency response teams and marine safety authorities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech) Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification. Minimum 35 years of experience in HSE roles within the Oil & Gas sector. Experience in both onshore and offshore operations is preferred. Valid Offshore Survival (BOSIET) and Medical Certification (as applicable). Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of OSHA, ISO 45001, API, OISD, and other HSE standards . Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in remote and challenging environments. Proficient in incident investigation tools and HSE reporting software.

Review Instrumentation and control detailed engineering deliverables and make sure that the client deliverables are suitable for production/construction engineering. Review/Prepare Instrumentation detailed engineering deliverables and Review 3D Model provided by client on daily basis and make sure that the changes are incorporated within the production/construction deliverables. Issue Technical queries as required for any mismatches between client deliverables or missing information within client deliverables. Co-ordinate and guide engineers and designers for the preparation of Instrument / F&G support and fabrication drawings, Instrument Cable tray routing support and fabrication drawings in E3D Software. Co-ordinate and guide designers for the preparation of Instrument tubing routing / support drawings in E3D Software. Verification within existing process modules and prepare necessary mark-up on Instrument Cable tray routing drawings and Instrument / F&G support drawings for onboard implementation. Able to perform verification of proposed tubing routing and prepare markup up based on Site conditions. Make sure that all production/construction engineering deliverables are issued as per company quality procedures. Provide support to other disciplines engineering activities. Attend to queries from Electrical workshop and provide solution with mark-ups. Perform procurement engineering for instrumentation items like Instruments, Cables trays, tubes/fittings, cables etc. as per issued production/construction engineering deliverables. Overall coordination of engineers and designers at Mumbai office and assist EIT manager for work time allocation. Coordination with DDWD Instrument Manager for the assigned projects/activities.
