As a skilled and detail-oriented Cadmatic Draftsman at Marinor India, Kochi, you will be responsible for preparing and managing 3D models and production drawings for marine accommodation and outfitting systems using Cadmatic software. The ideal candidate for this role should possess prior experience in shipbuilding or offshore industries. Your responsibilities will include developing 3D models in Cadmatic for accommodation outfitting such as HVAC, piping, electrical, and furniture layout. You will also be required to prepare detailed production drawings, GA drawings, and isometric drawings from the 3D model. In addition, you will need to coordinate with engineering and project teams to incorporate design inputs from OEMs, shipyards, and internal departments. Conducting clash detection, resolving interface issues across disciplines, updating and managing drawing revisions, and ensuring document control procedures are followed will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will assist in generating material take-offs and as-built documentation when required. To qualify for this position, you should have a Diploma, ITI, or B.Tech in Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Cadmatic Hull or Plant modules, preferably in marine projects, is required. You should have a strong understanding of marine accommodation layouts and outfitting principles, as well as familiarity with shipyard modeling workflows and coordination practices. The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is essential. Knowledge of other software like AutoCAD or Aveva Marine would be considered a plus.,
