We are seeking an entrepreneurial, passionate, and driven Mobile Engineer to join Startup Gala Intelligence backed by Navneet Tech Ventures as our technical co-pilot. As we embark on building our technology platform from the ground up, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology vision, architecture, and engineering culture. Your contributions will be foundational in the development process as you establish best practices and eventually lead our engineering team. This position is tailored for an individual who is eager to take ownership of the entire tech stack, thrives on early-stage challenges, and excels at crafting innovative, scalable solutions right from the outset. Key Responsibilities: - Mobile App Development: Create and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, utilizing native technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter as necessary. - Hands-on Coding: Drive end-to-end implementation by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - API Integration: Seamlessly connect applications with backend services to ensure smooth data flow and real-time updates. - Performance & Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks to enhance the speed, reliability, and battery efficiency of mobile applications. - UI/UX Design & Implementation: Translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality user interfaces. - Testing & Deployment: Develop unit tests, troubleshoot issues, and participate in deployment to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. - Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product managers, backend engineers, and AI teams to deliver technically robust and user-centric features. - Ownership: Take full ownership of the mobile stack, making architecture decisions, selecting libraries, and ensuring future scalability. Qualifications: Technical Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile app development within a product-based company. - Proficiency in React Native or native Android/Kotlin and iOS/Swift development. - Strong background in REST APIs, state management libraries (such as Redux, MobX), and mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture). - Solid grasp of mobile design principles, UI/UX standards, and responsive design. - Experience deploying apps to the Play Store and App Store, including familiarity with the release management process. Bonus Points: - Experience in performance tuning, offline-first design, or real-time data synchronization. - Exposure to backend systems, fraud detection platforms, or telecom-related APIs. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
