Officer - WTP

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the water treatment plant and maintaining stock of WTP chemicals. This includes overseeing the operation of various components of the plant such as MGF, ACF, UF, RO, and DM, as well as conducting backwashing and regeneration activities. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of the WTP area, dosing chemicals in RO & DM based on water analysis reports, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. Your role will also involve coordinating with the plant for water requirements, preparing daily reports on water consumption, chemicals, and maintenance, and keeping records of maintenance work. Key Performance Indicators for this role include maintaining log sheets, effectively utilizing contract manpower, ensuring water quality meets process requirements, maintaining essential chemical supplies, and documenting chemical dosing in the plant. To be successful in this position, you should have knowledge of ETP/WTP/MEE plant operations and be familiar with GPCB norms applicable for ETP. The ideal candidate will have an ITI or Graduation from a Science background, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
