As an Automation Engineer at Citi, you will be part of a fast-growing global business and development team focused on automation test deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and implementing automation test strategies aligned with project requirements - Building and maintaining reusable automation frameworks to streamline test development and execution - Identifying and documenting software defects and issues, working closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve them - Providing guidance and coaching to junior QA team members on automation best practices and methodologies Qualifications required for this role: - 4-8 years of experience in Automation engineering - Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Regression testing, and Scripting - Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, is preferred Skills required for the job: - Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile principles, and methodologies - Familiarity with SQL and database management systems - Proficiency in one programming language, preferably Python or Java - Experience in implementing automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools - Knowledge in TDD and BDD, with experience in BDD automation frameworks preferred - Familiarity with bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail - Ability to work independently, multitask, take ownership, and drive strategy Join Citi to shape the future of banking and leverage the resources provided for your well-being and career growth.
