Officer-Ab Initio ETL Developer

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role where you will be responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining systems within the SMC ETL stream, working on Client Onboarding and managing reference data static domain tables. You will collaborate with global application development teams and Operations teams/partners to integrate application data successfully. Additionally, you will perform unit testing with proper documentation, work closely with other team members both onsite and remote, engage in architecture definition of new processes, and review existing processes for improvements. You will also be involved in strategic Tech Migration initiatives to set up the ETL architecture, provide ongoing maintenance and L3 production support, and stay updated with new technologies for possible adoption within ISG. Furthermore, you will work on data initiatives within ISG such as Automation and utilities. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry. Experience in Abinitio/DataStage and working with relational databases is required. You should have proven proficiency in dealing with complex technical issues across all aspects of the project lifecycle and knowledge and experience working with Batch and realtime processes including micrographs. Experience in a demanding and results-driven, time-critical environment is essential. The required skills for this role include proficiency in Ab Initio GDE and Co>Op/Datastage ETL Tool, Linux/Unix scripting, Oracle concepts, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning, and Autosys. Skills in Python, Java, and understanding of ECS architecture/implementation are considered a plus. Education requirement for this position is a Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
