As an Intern in the Human Resources Department at our office in Vijayanagara, Bellary, Karnataka, you will be reporting to the Assistant Manager and will be part of an exciting six-month internship program. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a seamless experience for new hires and exiting employees through effective management of the onboarding and offboarding processes. You will work closely with various departments such as Admin, Operations, IT, and Finance to ensure timely completion of all joining and exit formalities, while also handling documentation, verification, legal compliance, and clearance procedures in accordance with company policies. Maintaining and updating employee records in HR systems will be a key aspect of your role to ensure accurate information is communicated promptly to stakeholders. In addition to onboarding and offboarding, you will play a crucial role in talent acquisition by collaborating with hiring managers to draft comprehensive job descriptions, reviewing candidate applications, conducting preliminary HR calls, and managing the recruitment process from sourcing to selection. Your ability to employ various sourcing strategies and ensure open positions are filled within agreed timelines will be essential for the success of our team. Employee engagement will also be a key focus area where you will assist in coordinating and organizing activities, events, and initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention. Your role will also involve data management tasks such as maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting in the preparation of HR reports and presentations. As an ideal candidate for this position, you are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, with at least six months of prior experience in Human Resources. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are qualities we are looking for in our interns.
