Odoo Developer (2+ Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo modules to meet our clients' specific business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of the Odoo framework, Python, and related web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development:

  Design, develop, and test new Odoo modules and features using Python, XML, and JavaScript.

• Customization:

  Customize existing Odoo modules to meet client requirements, including UI/UX enhancements and workflow adjustments.

• Implementation:

  Participate in Odoo implementation projects, from requirement gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.

• Integration:

  Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external systems using APIs and web services.

• Maintenance & Support:

  Provide ongoing maintenance, bug fixing, and technical support for Odoo installations.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.

• Documentation:

  Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and test plans.

• Optimization:

  Optimize Odoo performance and ensure scalability for large datasets and multiple users.

• Stay Updated:

  Keep up-to-date with the latest Odoo versions, features, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Odoo development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• In-depth knowledge of the Odoo framework (v13, v14, v15, or later).
• Experience with Odoo's ORM, API, and QWeb templates.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Odoo's enterprise version.
• Knowledge of different Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing).
• Experience with Odoo migrations.
• Odoo certification is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
