Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ODI Developer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) interfaces, packages, and scenarios. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data integration, cleansing, validation, and troubleshooting within ETL environments. You will play a key role in building robust data integration solutions and ensuring the smooth flow of data across systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ODI interfaces, packages, and scenarios to facilitate smooth data integration and transformation processes. Perform data cleansing and validation tasks to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems. Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient database operations and data validation. Enhance and manage Knowledge Modules (KMs) to improve performance and streamline ETL processes. Troubleshoot and resolve errors and issues related to ODI, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, perform data modeling, and design effective ETL solutions. Document technical processes, data flows, and ODI configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing. Continuously improve ETL processes and implement best practices for data integration and transformation. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development and support. Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining ODI interfaces, packages, and scenarios. Strong experience in performing data cleansing, validation, and writing complex SQL queries. Experience in enhancing and managing ODI Knowledge Modules (KMs) to optimize data processing and performance. Solid understanding of ETL development principles and best practices. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify, resolve, and document errors in ODI processes. Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices. Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL scripting. Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Preferred Skills (Optional): Knowledge of other ETL tools and platforms. Experience with Oracle databases and related technologies. Certification in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or related areas. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-4 years of professional experience in ETL development, with a focus on Oracle Data Integrator.
