Role Overview The Retail Manager (RM) – NCR will be responsible for driving sales and profitability across all brand-owned and franchise stores in the region for the air conditioners category . This role includes identifying and launching new stores , hiring and training store teams , ensuring operational excellence , and achieving revenue and margin targets . The RM will serve as the business owner for the region, leading both strategy and execution to deliver superior customer experience and business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Ownership Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of revenue, gross margin, and productivity (sales/sq. ft.) targets for all stores in the NCR region. Execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall brand objectives and seasonal campaigns. Identify high-potential micro-markets and drive expansion through targeted store openings and localized marketing. 2. Store Launches & Expansion Identify and evaluate potential store locations based on market opportunity, catchment demographics, and competitor presence. Oversee end-to-end store launch process including site readiness, merchandising, staffing, and opening readiness. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, VM, and operations to ensure a successful go-live and steady state operations. 3. Team Leadership & Development Hire, train, and manage store managers and sales executives across all stores in the region. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement coaching interventions to improve productivity. Facilitate functional and behavioral training as per the training calendar to build strong product knowledge, selling skills, and customer orientation. Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and high performance within the sales team. 4. Merchandising, Inventory & Store Operations Optimize display stock and back-store inventory to increase stock turns and reduce holding costs. Ensure effective visual merchandising, product labels, updated pricing, promotional offers, and POS materials are implemented as per brand guidelines. Manage day-to-day sales transactions, returns, refunds, and ensure timely customer order fulfillment. 5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking Conduct ongoing market surveillance across competitor retailers for product mix, pricing, promotional offers, and visual merchandising standards. Track customer footfall, conversion, and category trends to inform marketing and merchandising strategies. Provide inputs for product demand forecasting and inventory planning based on sales trends and consumer insights. 6. Financial & Operational Excellence Manage regional sales budgets and expenditures to ensure cost efficiency and profitability. Implement measures to increase margins and minimize store-level expenses without compromising customer experience. Track KPIs such as revenue per store, sales per sq. ft., inventory turns, customer conversion, and team productivity. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Achievement of revenue, gross margin, and productivity targets. Timely and successful launch of new stores in identified catchments. Inventory optimization and stock turn improvement across stores. Customer satisfaction and NPS improvement through better store experience. Team capability development and performance enhancement. Role Summary: The Supply Chain Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end inventory, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management . This role ensures that all retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and marketplace channels (Amazon, Flipkart, brand website) have the right stock at the right time. The incumbent will oversee warehouse operations, distributor coordination, billing, inventory control, and last-mile delivery , ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across all sales channels. Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory & Supply Planning Manage inventory planning for retail stores, e-commerce, and marketplace channels. Maintain optimal stock levels across stores — ensuring display units, saleable inventory, and buffer stocks are adequately available. Coordinate with manufacturers and distributors for timely stock replenishment and product dispatches. Track inventory turnover, stock ageing, & returns to minimize slow-moving or dead stock. Ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reporting. 2. Warehouse & Distribution Management Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations — receiving, putaway, storage, picking, dispatch, and returns. Ensure warehouse space utilization, safety, and compliance with SOPs.Implement and monitor WMS for efficient tracking of goods movement. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation between physical and system stock. Coordinate with logistics partners for timely movement of goods between warehouse, stores, and customers. 3. Supply Chain Optimization Develop and optimize supply chain processes to improve delivery timelines and cost efficiency. Manage vendor and distributor billing, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), and reconciliation with finance teams. Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvements in warehouse layout, logistics routing, and fulfillment operations. Use data-driven insights to forecast demand and plan replenishment cycles for different channels. 4. E-commerce & Marketplace Operations Manage inventory visibility and synchronization across brand website, Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplaces. Ensure real-time stock updates, order fulfillment accuracy, and SLA adherence for online orders. Coordinate with e-commerce operations teams for packaging, labeling, and dispatch readiness. Track delivery performance and handle order exceptions, cancellations, and returns efficiently. 5. Logistics & Last-Mile Coordination Plan and execute last-mile delivery for both store and e-commerce orders in coordination with logistics partners. Ensure delivery TATs, installation scheduling, and customer experience targets are met. Manage delivery costs, route planning, and driver/vendor compliance. 6. Role summary The Service Manager (SM) will own all after-sales service delivery for the Air Conditioner category in the region. You will manage a mixed supply of technicians — direct (in-house) teams and third-party partners — to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality AC installations, repairs, gas refills and preventive maintenance. This role combines field operations, vendor management, quality control, workforce development, and customer SLA ownership to deliver outstanding customer experience and strong business outcomes. Key responsibilities Operational leadership Own day-to-day service delivery: installations, corrective repairs, gas refills, preventive maintenance and warranty jobs. Plan technician rostering, zone coverage, and capacity to meet demand peaks while controlling turnaround time (TAT). Define and manage service SLAs (e.g., response time, first-time-fix rate, installation completion time) and ensure adherence. Workforce management Recruit, onboard, and retain in-house technicians; build capability through technical and soft-skills training (both classroom and ride-alongs).
