Role Description and Responsibilities: An exciting technical role has become available for an ambitious engineer to join our Overhead Contact System (OCS) team undertaking design on projects of various sizes, many of which are multi-disciplinary in nature. The successful candidate will be highly organised, self-starting, and entrepreneurial in nature, fully able to demonstrate very good time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to work to deadlines. You will be responsible for producing technical work packages on a wide range of Mott MacDonald projects under the supervision of Principal Engineers and alongside other Junior and Senior engineers. Reporting to the OCS Team Leader, your role will be primarily technical, supporting the delivery of the OCS scope of our projects. Main responsibilities: Day to day responsibilities will include OCS design input for multidisciplinary feasibility studies, option selection, outline design and detailed design.
