As a Founding AI Engineer, you will be responsible for building the AI Reasoning Layer for Education. You will play a crucial role in reimagining the core intelligence layer for education, addressing the challenging task of subjective assessment automation and ultra-personalized learning at scale. This opportunity goes beyond a typical LLM application as you will be involved in developing a first-principles AI reasoning engine that integrates multi-modal learning, dynamic knowledge graphs, and real-time content generation. The ultimate goal is to revolutionize the education sector by eliminating manual evaluation time wastage and creating an AI system that comprehends the human learning process. Your primary tasks will involve solving complex problems at the cutting edge of LLMs, computer vision, and generative reasoning. You will be working on challenges such as achieving near-human accuracy in Handwriting OCR, real-time learner knowledge modeling, creating generative AI for dynamic video lessons, and building scalable inference infrastructure to support millions of learners in real time. In this role, you will architect, deploy, and optimize multi-modal AI systems including OCR, knowledge-state inference, and adaptive content generation. You will design reasoning engines that merge LLMs, retrieval methods, and learner data to dynamically steer the learning process. Fine-tuning foundation models, implementing advanced techniques, and designing production-grade AI systems will be integral parts of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will lead experiments at the forefront of AI research and have the opportunity to publish your findings. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in AI/ML, with a focus on LLMs, multi-modal learning, and computer vision. Hands-on experience with OCR fine-tuning, proficiency in AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face, as well as knowledge of optimizing AI for production are essential requirements. Experience in knowledge graphs, AI-driven reasoning systems, and familiarity with Diffusion Models, Transformers, and GNNs are highly desirable skills.
