As a sophisticated database support engineer in the Oracle Customer Success Services organization, your primary responsibility will be to deliver support and services on database, engineered systems, and cloud technologies to premium customers. Your role will involve working closely with customers to ensure they receive the best possible outcomes from our products. You will be part of a team that provides a customer-centric delivery and support-integrated service in collaboration with Oracle Development, covering the entire product lifecycle from architecture design to implementation, optimization, and maintenance. In this role, you will be expected to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions based on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to meet the business needs of our customers. You will lead migration projects of on-premises systems to Oracle Cloud, including compute, networking, storage, and database services. Additionally, you will manage migration projects for various Oracle products to OCI, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless transition. Your responsibilities will also include designing and managing OCI Virtual Networks (VCN), subnets, routing, load balancing, VPNs, and security lists to create highly available and secure network architectures. You will be required to provide technical leadership and guidance on OCI best practices, cloud infrastructure, and architecture to development and operations teams. Identifying performance bottlenecks, optimizing performance, ensuring security, and monitoring cost efficiency of cloud resources will be key aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop and maintain system designs, architecture diagrams, and documentation. Staying updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies, particularly Oracle Cloud services, will be essential to evaluate their applicability in improving infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, automating, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance for critical business applications. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and maintain OCI resources such as Compute, VCNs, Load Balancers, Object Storage, and Exadata.
