You should have 5-8 years of experience and be an Oracle Cloud expert with practical knowledge of OCI migration. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing migration strategies for transferring on-premises Multitenant Oracle databases to Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC). You will also need to plan and execute the migration of on-premises Oracle databases to Exadata on OCI. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing migration strategies aimed at minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity, such as Dataguard, DATA PUMP, and RMAN restore. You must assess existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to determine the most suitable migration approach and utilize Oracle Cloud VMware Solution for migrating virtual machines (VMs) to OCI. In this role, you will perform on-premises data migration to ExaCC while ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity. It will be essential to evaluate and leverage various database migration services available in OCI and collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless migration and integration with minimal disruption to business operations. Moreover, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining migration documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration plans, runbooks with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Providing technical guidance and support throughout the migration process, conducting risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies will also be part of your duties. Ensuring compliance with organizational security and data governance policies and implementing CMAN to manage and monitor database migrations will be crucial aspects of the role.,
