As a Trade Lane Manager for the North Europe - India trade lane, your primary responsibility will be to expand and further develop our client's core business. You will focus on growing the North Europe India Trade Lane and catering to customers, particularly Gold and Platinum Customers. Your role will involve developing the trade lane through local sales efforts, maintaining existing accounts, and coordinating with counterparts. You will be expected to work on all air and ocean products and logistics solutions, acquiring new business, and expanding existing business in alignment with the corporate strategy. Building a trust-based and efficient cooperation between India and North Europe for import/export movements will be crucial. Knowledge transfer for the assigned trade lane, including communicating strengths, weaknesses, unique selling propositions, and products to the organization, will be an essential aspect of your role. You will independently plan, organize, implement, and follow up on sales trips and marketing campaigns between India and North Europe. Conducting regular reviews with the North Europe Trade Lane partner to ensure continuous growth, analyzing markets, and monitoring competitors to drive profitable measures will be part of your responsibilities. Early identification of market trends and implementing customer-driven measures for the India-North Europe trade lane will also be a key focus. You will lead the execution of RFQs, develop strategies to win customers, and support product, tender, and operations. Initiating and overseeing the implementation of Continuous Improvement Processes internally and externally will be vital. Your role will require correct and efficient utilization of computer systems such as CRM NOW and CRM Application. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field or have a combination of education and experience. A minimum of 8 years of working experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry is essential. Strong knowledge of air and ocean products, experience in air and ocean operations, and fluency in English (both verbal and written) are necessary skills for this role.
