Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist at our Child Development Centre, your role will involve conducting assessments of children's physical, sensory, and developmental challenges using observation, parent reports, and standardized tools. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve self-care, mobility, and daily living skills. Additionally, you will provide therapy using techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment. Collaboration with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to create holistic treatment approaches is a key aspect of your role. Monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans, and accurately documenting patient records will be essential tasks. Moreover, educating families and caregivers on strategies to support therapy goals at home and school, staying updated on the latest research, treatments, and best practices in occupational therapy, training and mentoring new team members and support staff as needed, and traveling to patient locations or therapy centers as required are part of your responsibilities.
