You’ll play a key role in driving service and project sales, managing tenders, and delivering tailored technical solutions to clients. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong customer relationships to promote service contracts, spare parts, and new equipment sales Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial quotations to maximise deal conversion Manage sales activity through Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM —ensuring accurate tracking of leads and opportunities Lead and manage tender submissions, ensuring compliance with both technical and commercial requirements Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency in proposed solutions Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies Provide regular sales performance updates, forecasts, and insights to the leadership team What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) 4+ years of experience in technical sales within heavy industry sectors such as power, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure Strong understanding of industrial systems (e.g., steam, mechanical equipment, plant operations) Excellent communication, client engagement, and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office tools Ability to handle multiple leads, quotes, and projects with strong time management Why Join O’Brien Energy? About the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Sales Support Executive to assist with the development, organization, and optimization of our sales operations within Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role will primarily focus on maintaining and improving the D365 database, supporting the implementation of standardized templates (email and procedural), and providing general administrative and CRM-related assistance to the sales team.
