As a Senior Technical Architect specializing in Power Platform at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for designing solutions and engineering services that facilitate the delivery of JCI's Power solutions. Your role will involve creating enablement items for development teams, ensuring project architectures align with Enterprise Architecture and Automation strategies, and maintaining a deep understanding of the technology stack, integrations, and business processes. You will focus on the lifecycle of the JCI and Automation COE Technology Portfolio to optimize total cost of ownership. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing all technical activities, such as technical architecture, integration design, connectivity, data management, and KPIs. Additionally, you will design workflow solutions and architectures, estimate capex and opex costs for Power Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate), and Azure applications, while ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Collaboration with IT Business Partners, Delivery Leaders, and Stakeholders will be crucial to understanding their needs and defining technical requirements. You will play a key role in aligning solution designs with global Architecture and Platform standards/templates and supporting continuous improvements related to architecture for the Power Suite and Azure/.NET projects. Furthermore, you will engage in planning and implementing upgrades and migrations in accordance with the technology roadmap and provide guidance to delivery teams on applying standards to solution builds. In terms of qualifications, you should have more than 2 years of experience in architecting Power Suite and Azure applications, along with over 3 years of IT experience in Technical Architecture/Engineering, Application Development, Business Process Management, and/or Enterprise Application Integration. Proficiency in building automated flows, MS Dynamics, O365, or SharePoint applications, as well as knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, cloud concepts, security concepts, and Agile delivery principles are required. Effective interpersonal skills, the ability to lead complex deliveries, and a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field are preferred. Preferred skills and certifications include Power Platform certification, experience with RPA (UiPath) and APIs (MuleSoft), proficiency in .NET Suite (C# or VB.net), relational databases, SQL, API development, JSON, Object-Oriented techniques, and manufacturing experience. Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA and lab software and hardware support is also essential.
