You will be joining Johnson Controls as a Salesforce Architect, where your main responsibility will be to design and develop robust and maintainable Salesforce solutions that align with the business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems. A strong grasp of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and configuration and development best practices is crucial for this role. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with both offshore and onshore teams such as UI/UX Leads, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Technical Architects. You will need to assess user requirements in conjunction with the Product Owner and engineering teams, suggest approaches for interfacing with legacy systems, and create design documents to outline software components. Additionally, you will be expected to offer guidance on Salesforce.com configuration and development best practices, conduct code reviews, and update object schemas and queries. Ensuring the quality and performance of solutions by reviewing and understanding existing code bases is also part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing, administering, and configuring Salesforce.com solutions is required. You must have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with both onshore and offshore teams. Proficiency in Salesforce.com objects, Apex, integration, data manipulation, and security is essential. A solid background in application design, construction, and deployment on the Salesforce.com platform, as well as experience in database design, database objects, and procedures, are also necessary qualifications for this role.,
