You will be responsible for performing general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying. Additionally, you will prepare sales-related documents like proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders. It will be essential to promote brand image awareness internally and externally, gather materials, and assemble information packages including brochures and promotional materials. Implement sales techniques to maximize revenue while ensuring guest loyalty to Marriott. Your role will involve entering, retrieving, reconciling, and verifying information in sales process software, including commissions, leads, and third parties. You will be required to answer guest inquiries about property facilities and services, act as the point of contact for clients, and communicate with them via phone and email to address questions and requests promptly. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, respecting confidentiality, and safeguarding company assets are vital aspects of this position. You must greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and fulfill their service needs, and express gratitude genuinely. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is crucial, along with developing positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and addressing employee concerns appropriately. Quality assurance standards must be met, and physical tasks such as moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds independently may be required. Flexibility to perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors is expected. Preferred qualifications for this role include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and at least 1 year of related work experience. There is no requirement for supervisory experience or any specific license or certification.
