The Medical Coder will be responsible for assigning appropriate medical codes to diagnoses and procedures to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing patient medical records, assigning codes, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Experience in Medical Coding, preferably in Radiology, is required for this role. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of LCD, NCD, NCCI edits, and their appropriate use. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential qualities. The ability to work effectively in a team, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in computer systems and software, and flexibility to work in night shifts are also required. Candidates with OB-GYN coding experience would have an added advantage, although it is not mandatory. Immediate joiners are preferred. Non-certified individuals with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. The qualifications required for this role include CPC, COC, CCS-P, or equivalent certifications from AAPC or AHIMA. Additionally, candidates should be graduates with a background in life sciences domain.,
