Assistant Human Resource Manager
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Ensure strict compliance with all applicable labor laws, factory acts, and industrial regulations relevant to a chemical manufacturing and export unit. Manage all statutory registers, records, and filings as required by law. Manage the end-to-end attendance process, guaranteeing the accurate and timely distribution of salaries, wages, and all other emoluments to permanent and contract employees Calculate and ensure timely deposit of statutory deductions such as ESIC, PF, TDS, etc. Manage all aspects of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and Provident Fund (PF) compliance, including registration, contributions, claims, and record-keeping. Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to ESIC and PF benefits. Collaborate with management to identify workforce needs and develop strategies for talent acquisition and retention. Ensure all pre & post employment formalities are completed. Address employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflicts in a fair and timely manner. Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in line with legal requirements and company objectives. Communicate HR policies effectively to all employees. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (both physical and digital). Skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees at all levels. 2-4 years of progressive HR experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge and practical experience of the Factory Act, Labour Laws and Compliance is essential. . Administrative skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and data entry tasks. Ability to analyse data to inform decision-making processes within the HR department. Experience in managing HRIS systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
