Role Summary The Financial Accountant is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager, ensuring a smooth delivery of financial results and clean transactional finance accounts. Duties include assisting in delivering monthly management accounts, balance sheet reporting and cashflow forecasting, supporting the statutory audit and accounts, indirect and direct tax analysis as well as ensuring the transactional finance is completed accurately. This role will also act as a backup and support for the Indian finance manager. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include: Monthly posting and reporting – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Analytical review Completing indirect tax returns Cashflow forecasting Supporting with transactional finance Completing year-end processes Proactively involved in the audit process Involvement in process improvements Ensuring accounting standards are in place and followed Other ad hoc duties as requested Desired Skills: Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers Proficiency in various computer software, such as MS Word, MS Excel and other financial management software – ERP Systems would be an advantage preferably MS Dynamics. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good problem-solving skills and the ability to strategise and devise solutions Honesty and integrity Required Experience: Finance Accountant must have: 2-4 years of experience in a Finance position. Candidates must have at least a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management, business administration or a related field. Must be familiar with UK accounting rules Must be familiar with government laws and regulations, court procedures and democratic political processes.
