Position : Sapience Life Insurance Suite Consultant Location: India, Remote Experience level: 4+ years Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Sapience Life Insurance Suite Consultant to join our implementation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and customizing Sapience Life Insurance modules, with a strong understanding of life insurance products, workflows, and business processes. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable, tailored solutions using Sapience’s life insurance platform. Roles and Responsibility : Configure and customize Sapience Life Insurance Suite modules, including Policy Administration, Product Configuration, Billing, Claims, and Underwriting. Translate business and functional requirements into detailed configuration and customization tasks. Design and implement product rules, premium calculations, benefit structures, and workflow automations aligned with life insurance business logic. Perform hands-on system configuration, form design, data mapping, and API integration with external systems (CRM, payment, underwriting tools, etc.). Participate in solution design workshops, configuration walkthroughs, and UAT sessions with business users. Support testing teams by providing configuration documentation and assisting with defect resolution. Analyze and troubleshoot system issues related to product configuration, business rules, and integrations. Provide post-deployment support and optimize system performance based on user feedback. Requirements: 4–8 years of experience with Sapience Life Insurance Suite or similar insurance technology platforms (e.g., Infosys McCamish, FIS, Oracle Insurance, or Life/Annuity systems). Strong understanding of Life Insurance and Annuity products, including Term, Whole Life, UL, and Riders. Proven experience in configuration and customization of life insurance business rules, calculations, and product setup. Good grasp of insurance domain workflows such as new business, policy issuance, endorsements, billing, and claims. Familiarity with integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs) and data models in the life insurance ecosystem. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent analytical, communication, and client interaction skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in end-to-end Sapience Life Suite implementation or migration projects. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects related to life insurance (NAIC, AML, etc.). Sapience or insurance domain certification is a plus. Four hours are flexible, while the remaining four hours (7:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST) require the candidate’s availability to align with team and client collaboration needs.
