We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in the design and development of BIW Closures. The ideal candidate should hold a BE/ME degree in Mechanical or Automotive engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in passenger car BIW - Closures such as Hood and Fender. Proficiency in UGNX is essential for this role. Key responsibilities include: - Developing BIW Closures concepts and component designs - Conducting technical feasibility assessments related to material, manufacturing, packaging, and product design aspects - Demonstrating sound knowledge of product design and development for BIW parts/assemblies - Understanding Drawings, GD & T, and BOM preparation - Taking ownership to plan and execute tasks successfully - Utilizing PDM tools like Teamcenter Engineering or Enterprise - Working with CAD tools like NX Surface and Part modeling, Assembly, Joining Elements creation, and Drawing creation - Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, aiding organizations in their journey towards a digital and sustainable world.
