We are seeking a technically strong and strategically minded Rules Author Lead to drive the development of advanced configuration logic across CPQ platforms and CAD systems. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in tools like Tacton, KBMax (Epicor CPQ), DriveWorks, or KBEWorks, and a passion for leading rule-based automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and optimization of rule frameworks for CPQ and CAD automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate product logic into executable rules. Customize CAD models and automate drawing generation using integrated platforms. Mentor junior rule authors and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Conduct rule audits, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications 6-8 years of experience in rule authoring, CPQ configuration, or CAD automation. What You’ll Do Mechanical Create detailed engineering drawings and CAD models for the design concepts and design changes of complex parts and assemblies. Implement design changes for parts and assemblies, including changes to address issues identified in supplier build or problem reports. Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), including system-level or customer-specific, for parts and assemblies to aid in the design process.
