We are seeking a passionate and hands-on Head of Embedded Design & Development to lead our hardware and firmware teams. As the Head of Embedded Design and Development, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design and development of embedded hardware and firmware products. Your role will involve guiding and mentoring a team of embedded system engineers and designers through the full product development lifecycle. It is essential to remain actively involved in the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems while driving technical excellence and innovation in embedded product architecture, design, and testing. Your key responsibilities will include developing and reviewing hardware schematics, layouts, and firmware architecture, working on OS and non-OS-based embedded systems with a variety of interfaces, and overseeing development involving Serial-to-Ethernet communication, high-resolution TFT displays, touch screens, NVRAM, and other peripherals. You will also ensure product compliance with relevant environmental and type testing standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing) to bring products to market. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electronics/Electrical/Embedded Systems or a related field, along with 10+ years of proven experience in embedded system design and development (hardware and firmware). Strong hands-on experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and embedded platforms, expertise in communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus, etc., and experience in product development using TFT displays, touchscreens, NVRAM, and other advanced peripherals are required. Additionally, a deep understanding of OS and non-OS based system design and development, knowledge of environmental and compliance testing procedures (type testing, EMI/EMC, thermal, vibration, etc.), strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.,
