Key responsibilities will also include: Design and specification of all electrical building services engineering design Contributing to Technical reports, writing about all electrical engineering systems, either as part of an independent report or a multi-disciplinary report. Working knowledge and understanding of US standards. Work competently on an independent basis, as well as collaborating within the design team and leading the project team. Planning and managing CAD for production of design work how a keen willingness to engage and participate within the groups strategy for BIM development as our tool of choices for all design related issues. Experience: Typically, over 3 years experience of Electrical building services engineering. Experience in general electrical design softwares such as Amtech and Dialux; experience in Revit is desirable. Experience of US projects would be advantageous. A relevant degree in engineering, or equivalent qualification, or sufficient suitable experience Associate or student member of an appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE, IET etc. Achieved or working towards Chartered Engineer status Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate in fluent English. Computer literate including working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
