Job Role of Department Head: Production plans to be received from the Clients / marketing department. RM/PM indent to be raised by store manager/PPIC executive under supervision. Follow up for PO and delivery of RM/PM will be done by store manager and PPIC executive. After receipt of RM/PM necessarily follow up to be done by PPIC team with stores/QC for GRN till release. On the basis of availability of RM/PM and production priorities of customer production plans will be decided in coordination with production team. Daily production reports will be shared to management Necessary follow up and coordination regarding production status and delivery schedule to be done. Monthly stocks report to be collected from all stores and non - moving/expired/short/excess report will be shared with senior management. Dispatch activities including timely delivery to be monitored. To coordinate with all the vendors for delivering the FG as per requested schedule. The purchase team will share delivery schedule of RM/PM. Production team will discuss & confirm production schedule on a daily basis. Any additional material required by production for any reason to be checked & approved by PPIC. QA/QC team will share release status of RM/PM/FG to store and PPIC on daily basis. Weekly / Monthly MIS containing PO, Delivered, Non-Delivered & Store details to prepared & presented to management. Reporting of designing department (art work etc.) in coordination with marketing & technical clearance from Regulatory dept. Education Required : B.Sc /M.Sc/B.Pharm/M.Pharma Experience required : 12 years to 15 years
Overall Responsibilities Production Planning : Develop and implement production plans and schedules, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective manufacturing. Process Supervision : Oversee batch manufacturing, monitor process validation, and maintain adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), GDP, and regulatory norms. Quality Assurance : Perform quality checks, maintain product standards, investigate deviations, and manage audits, including those by agencies like FFSL WHO GMP. Resource Coordination : Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and machine readiness by liaising with procurement and other departments. Documentation : Prepare and maintain SOPs, batch records, and other production documentation in line with regulatory and company requirements. Team Leadership : Train, supervise, and motivate production staff; enforce company policies, safety procedures, and good manufacturing practices. Continuous Improvement : Analyze production data, recommend workflow optimizations, and lead efforts for process and quality improvement. Educational Qualification Minimum requirement : Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, or related disciplines. Preferred : Masters degree and additional certifications in GMP, QA, or production management are advantageous. 410 years of relevant experience in OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing operations is typically expected.
