Nutanix JD Building Nutanix clusters in the environment from scratch. Leading the implementation team. Deploying Prism Central in the environment. Monitoring and administrating Nutanix alerts. Upgrading the Nutanix OS Versions(AOS, AHV hypervisor, BIOS, BMC) Planning VM migrations to restructure the virtual environment as per the business requirement. Creating Protection domain and adding server into it for snapshot schedule in Nutanix Planning and migration of VMs from HP to Nutanix Cluster, vSAN to Nutanix Clusters Planning and executing ESXi hosts, Nutanix AOS updates and firmware upgrades Working with Vendors such as Nutanix, Dell, Veritas, Cisco and Microsoft for troubleshooting and fixing highly critical issues in the environment Planning and executing vulnerability remediation on vCenter, ESXi, Nutanix Appliances Organizing structure and managing diverse environment of physical servers (Nutanix, Dell). Investigating ESXi and Windows server crash issues. Migrating VMs across datastores/clusters, taking/deleting the snapshots Putting AHV and ESXI cluster in maintenance for power shutdown activities. Perform Dell hardware upgrades for the ESXi hosts Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
